Mechanical men
This weeks output, most items were just started last week, but had been kicking around the house for a few years. I am kind of surprised at how little time it has taken to get this stuff done once started, and a little disappointed with myself that it took so long to get going on this.
I have no delusions about the longevity of this project (I direct you to the name of this blog) but I am keen to see how much I can get done before I become distracted by another project. I do know that I will be gearing up for a Pulp Alley campaign in the new year, either Lemuria or the tomb.
Time to end this rambling with some pictures.

Masked Minions Elite unit
Just finished these figures, they have been kicking around for a few years...
Old Paroom Station figures part of a large primed VSF collection. Somehow I have been spurred into action on this collection, and I am going to see just how much I can get done before I become unfocused by some other distraction.

Posting some newly and not so newly painted figures
Two critters of Mars
These two have been loitering around my to be painted pile for a long time.
I intend to use them as Martian beasties, but they may also do double duty as Pulp monsters we shall see.

Pulp Alley Vice Alley Tales from the Gritty City
Our latest adventure featured a home grown scenario that involved the leagues searching for incriminating clues. The idea was to gather information with a plan to frame up the leader of another group.
Unlike other scenarios where the action took place around the buildings, we made certain that the building interiors would play a major role in this game. It presented a different aspect to game with a lot of point blank shooting, and close combat.

Pulp Alley - Vice Alley Trail of Clues, Chapter 2 (the conclusion)
We really had to bone up on the vehicle rules as three out of the four leagues motored their way around the table. It was a great deal of fun dealing with chaos and confusion caused by the collisions.

Garage sale finds
Another Saturday another day without gaming...
While my afternoon was busy with non gaming activities I was able to take advantage of the morning to attend "The Great Glebe Garage Sale". For those who have never heard of it or been to it, it is a crazy packed annual event where households in a maybe 10 by 10 block area of Ottawa bring out their junk er previously enjoyed stuff. Always a busy scene and I always manage to find something.
After an hour or so of wandering I was on the verge of giving up when I stumbled upon this fine coliseum all set up and seemingly unwanted by anyone. For a mere $5.00 this fine structure was mine. A little large for 28mm but I am sure it will work out fine. Worst case scenario I pick up some 54mm gladiators.
Also being sold was this nice castle. I figure the building behind the coliseum will make a nice keep or historic building in a more modern setting. Each tower can hold 4 28mm figures.

Pulp Alley Vice Alley Trail of clues
Long overdue, the latest chapter of our Vice Alley campaign.
Four leagues fought it out for control of a recently arrived mysterious silver skull. (thanks again Dave!)
When setting up the table for this game I thought it might be nice to put some vehicle on the table for added scenery, little realizing the 'impact' that decision would have on the game. Some impacts in part 1 a lot in part 2.
