So, I have been blogging for a few years now, and I enjoy recording what I have done hobby wise and also show off what games the group has played. My issue is the general lack of feedback from anyone who has visited this site, or any of the other blogs in the collection. A few people have left comments and I am very thankful for it, but I sometimes wonder why more people do not comment on stuff, good or bad, or even just tick the box at the end of each post. At just shy of 24K visits, I would think I might have seen more than 144 comments. That works out to .006% of visitors have commented or .0072 if we ignore my friendly Russian bots. That is still a lot of visits without comments. Why?
Now I am not saying that I need these comments in order to feel fulfilled, or to gain some ego boost, but it might be nice to hear from other hobbyists from time to time. The only new person that I have communicated with in quite some time was Mr Maddox, again, thank you.
So, the question is why is the communication so one way, why no exchange of ideas? I will continue to post, whether people like it or not, but, especially now with C-19, it would be nice to hear some feedback, suggestions, even criticism, basically something. Perhaps even suggestions of what you would like to see posted, or hold me to my published plans and ask why I have not finished off what I said I was working on!
Maybe there is a technical reason. Perhaps the site does not allow comments, or there is a problem to do so. If that is the case, please leave me a comment to let me know...
Thank you
End of rambling for now
I might have commented, but got the impression that I had somehow been logged-out of Blogger and wasn't too sure about how to get back in...

ReplyDeleteI distracted them - now Menelduir, see my angry comment about how the Angels were not associated with Roosevelt Teddy was on Perilous Island and never a peon of the Lord of the Western Keep.
Hwy, "Unknown" drinker of coffee! How have you been doing?
DeleteHmm, I can post again. Alright, I was going to write that a fair number of bloggers would seem to have begun to shift towards announcing their latest blog posts on gaming fora and in facebook posts, etcetera. That raises the question of how many people still browse blogs directly...?
