My gaming room, my Sanctum Sanctorum

Welcome to my gaming room, or the room that Ikea built. (well I guess really built by me)

I am fortunate enough to have a room in my house that I can use exclusively for my gaming pursuits. At 17'  x  22', this is easily the largest room I have had in any of the many homes that I have lived in.
I have been working and collecting stuff for my room for many years now. I had picked up 2 ping pong tables, a large number of book shelves, and a large assortment of lights and other accessories.

For the last 6 years or so I have been at one location and this has allowed me to bring my dreams and plans to fruition. So this is not so much about boasting about my room, but it is about the pride and joy that I have been able to create a dedicated gaming/hobby focused environment.

The stats (followed by pictures so keep scrolling)

Some details about the gaming tables

I used 3 1/2 ping pong tables for the top of the primary and secondary game tables. The remaining half ping pong table was cut into a 2' x 4 1/2' add on to connect the primary and secondary table. When in use, it forms a large L shaped table 9' x 12' perfect for a big D-Day game! I use the remaining part of the ping pong table, 3' x 4 1/2', is placed on the tertiary table to allow miniature games to be played on it, when needed. Basically it expands the width from 25" to 36".

Work table 78" x 25"

Ikea table top, built on Alex narrow unit, and 3 legs
Alex wide unit on wheels with a cutting mat attached
4 storage shelves above table combination of glass and wood Ikea shelves
