Fantastic Battles AAR for Thursday Jan 26th game

 

 Two 1000 point armies, Dwarf vs Orc.

Orc mishap results saw 1 unit leap out ahead of the army! This put the unit out of command ironically the impetus role resulted in causing the unit to about face & retire to its starting position with its back to the enemy.

Dwarf mishap saw the Gyrocopter almost retreat off the board & the shot troops lose 2 resolve

 

The main attack was focused on the Dwarf right flank

 

Bugman's drunkards decided to attack the boar riders before the cavalry could charge home

 

Missile troops exchanged shots

Both sides saw a unit of missile troops eliminated

 

Orc archers found themselves blinked to the rear & unable to shoot

The game ended with the Dwarf army reaching its break point.

We had fun, it played fast and was a perfect after dinner game. We made a few mistakes, both tactically and rules/stat wise, but it did not matter as it was just for fun.
