Latest finds

Just love going to dollar stores. At this time of year they have to be the most optimistic place to be, as they already have their spring stuff on the shelves. Makes one almost think that winter will eventually end.

This trip to the Dollar Tree store had less to do with spring, but has certainly given me some stuff for my adventures in Africa and other parts of the world.

I like the texture of the coconut, dry-brushing should bring the texture out very nicely.

This certainly will double as a Zulu hut, or if placed on a tube (planters tin or Pringles container) it could be the roof of a hut.

Not certain what to do with this, maybe it is a storage hut.

The kayak comes with a 6" figure and weapons that I will donate over to Value Village. The pictures show the kayak without any work done on it yet. I figure it will be easy to cut out the tabs, and smooth out the inside of the new dugouts, and to fill in the open area. I figure for $1.25 I now have two  dugout canoes!
