A lucky find

So, I walked into a hobby store not expecting to find anything and instead I found a treasure trove of Plasticville buildings! Now I view thus as a bit of a mixed blessing, you see I already have plenty of buildings for my Pulp Alley games, but I also believe one should buy things like this when you see them as you are not likely to see them again.

Now these are very nice models, well built, very clean and in good shape. They also are building that I have not seen before, how could I say no?

Now, I do have the station already, but it is not in good shape, and I have been using the ramp for a dock in Pulp Alley games. On the other hand the house is new to me. I figure it will work well in many games particularly some posy apocalypse zombie games.

I have seen the mansion before, not in person but certainly online. It is small for a mansion but for gaming purposes it will certainly fit the bill as it has a reasonable footprint for gaming. It will need some 'glass' added to the windows, and a paint job (they all need that) then it will fit nicely on any gaming table.

I really like the tower, I have a few train buildings already and this will go well with them and with my Sarissa trains. The house in back will fit into most skirmish games that I play that are set in 20th century.

A nice touch with the church are the stained glass windows. I already have a Plasticville church but it is much smaller than this one more of a small parish church.

So, did I really need these, no, did I want them, yes, am I unhappy that I bought the, hell no!

  1. Excellent find and you were wise to jump at the opportunity. Much better to spend the money and save berating yourself for the next decade for not getting them 😂
