| Devilry Afoot |
| What a Cowboy! |
So, two games played this past weekend. We had our first try at Devilry Afoot and a second try at What a Cowboy! Both went quite well, Devilry a bit better as I did not mess up any rules! I acted as GTM for both games just to try and help people out with unfamiliar rules. (note to self, be more familiar with the rules next time)
There were three players each with one character. I had quickly created 1/2 dozen characters for the players to choose from, they selected a Religious, and 2 Scholars. So, our heroes were well versed in science if not overly encumbered with weapons.
Their opponents was a coven of witches (3).
It was not a successful adventure for the heroes. Only one remained upright while the witches escaped unscathed. The witches also were able to slaughter one innocent that they found in the shack!

So for What a Cowboy! we had four players each controlling three cowboys. While we toyed around with a free for all we instead went with two teams of two players each.
Due to a misreading of the shooting process, the game lasted much longer than it should have, and Doc Holliday lived far longer than he should have. In the end we figured out the error and the Earps and their allies managed to out shoot their opponents.
