Hotlead games part 2 of 2 [ECW, Mongols and Mausers]

So one of the big games of Saturday night was an ECW games run by a buddy of mine, Craig. It modified version of the Black Powder Pike and Shot rules was used.

The Royalists on the right Parliamentary forces on the right. Rupert is in the lower left leading a massive cavalry wing.

At the other end of the field the Parliament heavy cavalry charged into the weaker Royalist but instead of driving them from the field they remained locked in a series of smaller skirmishes.

The battle lasted longer than I did, I retired well before there was a conclusion.

A perennial favorite, chariot racing!

A Warlord epic scale Pike and shot game.

Finally one of the Mongols and Mauser games. These are great fully interactive games that are put on each year. Everyone commands a small force each with their own mission and each with a bag of coins that can help them pay their way to success.
