New year, two games played, but with all to familiar results!
Our heroes for the night
Game one:
We fought Baron Blade inside Omnitron IV. It was not a good battle. While RA did his usual damage, Setback worked out to be a bit of a challenge (first time using this hero). Neither of the heroes proved to be adept at handling the environment or the obstacles that the villain threw at us.
Due to the rather quick defeat we were able to get in another game.
Game 2:
This game also went badly for us, but had a better feel than the first game. We encountered Ambuscade in the ruins of Atlantis. We encountered a lot of tentacles in this environment, which were tough for us overcome. Ambuscade also hit us with weapon turrets, and kept up a strong defense that thwarted our attempts to damage him. Ra lasted one turn longer than Setback, and frustratingly was defeated just before he could launch an attack that would have taken out all of Ambuscades cards, and most, if not all of the environment cards.
Oh well
