Power nodes?

Not so much found, but seen right in front of me!



I have long fancied that these would make nice art-deco pulpy power nodes, or generators or just some sort of undefined apparatus for an evil or mad scientist.

So I hve collected a few of them.

 
So far it has taken me a few years to get around to even the most rudimentary experimentation, in this case a quick spray of silver. Even this reveals, at least to me, their potential. Not certain how to finish off the top, working on some options...
