Once more unto the breach...

So here is the last(hopefully) set up of the now infamous siege game. The plan remains to use the Tactica Medieval Rulebook, siege rules for the game. It was easy to adapt the fantasy elements of the game to those rules, and the rules look like they should provide a quick game.

It has now moved from the secondary table to the primary table, thus expanding the set up zone for both sides. The pictures show the Dwarf reserves and defensive equipment waiting to be deployed, and the Orc main forces waiting to be assigned to their starting positions.

The stuff for this game has been set up on one of my tables for quite some time. An unexpected bonus of the wait, is the discovery of a forgotten third assault tower. All these towers are at least 20 years old, which is my excuse for forgeting that I had made three towers.

So I fixed up the towers a bit, and have now attached them to new movement bases, bases that allow for the troops pushing the towers to be on the same base. This should speed things along when it comes time to assault the walls. The towers will need some paint, and hopefully I will get around to that before the game, but I am still in a painting funk...time will tell.
